Alright, so I was just feeling a little mentally exhausted and was doing some thinking. Sometimes it seems like I don't have anything of my own anymore, like all of me is for everyone else, which when I'm sane truly is what I would prefer, but everyone gets tired sometimes. I wanted to be able to laugh at it and keep in mind the good stuff which of course outweighs the sacrifices, so here it is.
Yesterday, after a long search, I discovered my chapstick under the chair. When I popped off the lid, almost the entire tube had been twisted upwards and it was all smashed into the lid. I went most of the day without my cell phone, calling it to help in the search only to find out it had been turned off. Later in the day, sitting at the computer I discovered something hard under my feet by the trash can, of course there it was. Anytime I go to the bathroom, there are always fingers under the door and heartbroken whining on the other side of it. To have access to the phone while I'm working with my laptop on my lap, but not have random people's number's dialed, I stuff it behind my back in the recliner's cushions so Kyler can not see it. Not very comfortable, and I run the risk when it rings of Kyler discovering I have it and throwing a tantrum right about the moment I say "hello." When dinner-time rolled around last night, I ended up with Kyler on my lap, stealing my fork and destroying my food, while I grabbed another fork and attempted to still eat my dinner as it was being flung around and smashed. My after-dinner hot chocolate was much more interesting than playing Mega Bloks with Daddy, although he would never actually swallow any of it, just spit it out down his fresh pair of pajamas. My book was discovered and my place lost. I got up this morning and took Kyler downstairs to watch his show with Daddy. As I turned on the bathtub faucet to prepare for my shower, my one true form of "alone time" I turn around to see Kyler exclaiming “BATH! BATH!”
Earlier this week, Kyler accidentally smacked me on the eyebrow with the remote. Upon seeing my eye water up he looked at me very concerned, paused for a moment thinking, and began hitting himself on the head with the remote and still looking at me as if to see if that made me feel better. I rarely go for more than a couple hours without hearing “mama!” and having Kyler desperately running to me with open arms needing(and giving) a hug. When I try to put on my makeup, Kyler will always try to hand me more items from my makeup drawer at an attempt of being helpful, and is very proud of himself when I take it from him and pretend to use it. Kyler doesn't care that I can't sing, and smiles and claps anyway. Two nights ago we had a “movie night” where we get tons of blankets and pillows on the floor, make popcorn and attempt to watch a movie. After giving up on holding Kyler and laying with him because of his squirming and wanting to play, I turned on my side and let him go play. After a while Kyler came back, sat down and started rubbing my back, and after falling motionless for a while with his head against me, I realized he had fallen asleep. If Josh pretends to hurt me, or tickles me or gives me kisses and Kyler doesn’t like it, he tries with all his might to rescue me from mean-old-Daddy.
Kyler's first time sledding was awesome! We all went out to Josh's parents house yesterday with the nieces and nephews and had a blast. It was such a perfect day, there was lots of snow on the ground that had already been there, and the temp was in the 40's!! Kyler did pretty good, he would smile when we went down the hill unless the sled got going pretty fast, and then he would just start nervously whining, but never any tears. He loves trudging through the snow, so we knew he'd love an afternoon out in it.
This was the first year the twins went down the hill by themselves, and they were fearless! At one point Cael jumped on a sled and flew down the hill by himself, and pummelled right into Triston, knocking him off of his feet! They both laughed about it - Cael is lucky Triston was such a good sport!
Here the twins went flying down the hill and took a sharp left turn into the trees(you can even see the sled tracks in the pic)! They missed one tree by an inch and were laughing so hard about it! 
Christmas day at Grandma and Grandpa Chapman's, look at all of those stockings! There were 13 grandkid's stockings(shown in pic), and then 16 adult stockings too!
